Do you want to share your personal angle on Portuguese Gastronomic Culture? We would love to publish your story on our platform.

As a resident or visitor of our country, you have experiences and thoughts that can become great stories to share with the World. If you do, please read on.

Suggestions:

Restaurants – Simple, unpretentious, and genuine. Local, probably family-run, it can be a Taberna, Casa de Pasto, or Tasca. Traditional food and local ingredients, should be priority. Example: Tascas

Ingredientes – Unique and special. Example: The curious story fo Alheira

Memories – A memorable experience you have had in a market or diner party; with friends or with perfect strangers. Something worth sharing with our audience.

But these are only suggestions. Please feel free to write what your heart and mind want to. Please keep in mind the principles in our Manifesto.

Size – we ask to write a story with a minimum of 250 and maximum of 1000 words.

Language – You can write in Portuguese or English. The idea is that no-Portuguese speaking people get more familiar with our linguistic culture. with a particular focus on gastronomy.

Contrapartidas – The people that decide to share their writing with us will be part of our community of contributors. If and when this project starts generating revenue – as it is our ultimate objective – contributors will be paid for their content, being text, photos, illustration, video or info graphics. And those that were with us from the beginning will be always specially considered.

Copyright – All texts are identified with the name (or pseudonym), and the copyright belongs to the Author.
